Our Story
A traveler's path to the Hospitality OS.
I was exploring the world, hopping from city to city. I was a business consultant in hospitality, working with hotels, but traveling kept calling me. One trip through Europe, I ended up in a hostel. That changed everything. The people, the community, the feeling of belonging you don't get anywhere else.
I stayed longer, worked reception, partnered with owners. Then my co-founder Jordan Deren and I started HostelHop, a traveler-facing OTA. Jordan led the tech, I led the business and operations. Every property we worked with had the same hidden problem. Ten tools that didn't talk to each other. Staff fighting software instead of running the business.
So I started building bsynqed. One operating system for the operators who hosted me, and the ones who will host the next traveler.
