bsynqed comes from years inside hospitality. From hotel-side consulting, to traveling, to hostels, to running an OTA. This is what I learned, and what I built next.
Our Story
I was exploring the world, hopping from city to city. At the time, I was a business consultant in hospitality, working with hotels. But traveling kept calling me. One trip through Europe, I ended up staying in a hostel. That changed everything. I started loving hostels. Not just the beds. The people, the community, the feeling of belonging you don't get anywhere else. I wanted everyone to experience it that way.
So I stayed longer. Made friends with owners in Belgrade, worked reception, watched operations from every angle. Then my co-founder Jordan Deren and I started HostelHop, a traveler-facing OTA. Jordan led the tech, I led the business and operations. The mission: a platform built by travelers, for travelers, helping people access more places at lower cost. HostelHop showed me where the real problem was. Not on the traveler side. On the operator side. The tools were broken, and nobody was fixing them properly.
So I started building bsynqed. Not just a PMS. A hospitality operating system. Every module exists because I personally lived the problem it solves. As a hotel-side consultant, a traveler, a receptionist, a partner, an OTA founder. Hospitality is a care-and-share industry. The platform should be too.
